Video Card drivers

Hello. I have a similar problem with windows 98, that I hope you can help me with. I have a IBN R31 note book.
It's all installed but when I try to install the game I want, I get the message " this game requires 800x600x 16 bits"
The machine is running with 640x480 pixels, and only 2 or 16 colours and will not go higher.
I'm a newbie with all this so as simple as poss please.
Many thanks
ziggy

Re: Video Card drivers

Hi. It's an IBM think pad model R31. I have just installed windows 98 after removing xp. And thats about it really. Oh...... I have noticed that when I boot up I get a message telling me that the following file is missing.. vnetbios.vxd. When I press enter windows 98 runs.
Thx

Re: Video Card drivers

You can go to the Lenovo support site to find all the win98 drivers for that pc.

Re: Video Card drivers

Thanks Rich, but I am very very green on this stuff. I'm not sure what I'm looking for, additionally how to transfer the driver/file to the IBM and where to?
