Display adapter missing
I had the Total Security virus recently but it has been removed from my computer with help from TSF, however, when my comp started working again, I realized that when I scroll, the page seems to refresh itself showing a few lines lower each time I scroll instead of scrolling smoothly like it did before the virus.
I did some looking around and noticed that my display adapter was non-existent in my Device manager and when I when to my display settings, my adapter was set to Default Monitor. The adapter I had was part of the Intel 82845g/GL/GE/PE/GE/E series. I looked at some of my other devices and saw that my Intel 82845g/GL/GE/PE/GE/E Processor to AGP had a (!) over it. When I first click it to show it's properties, it said that it was damaged (code 19). Looking at it just now, it said it cannot find enough free resources (code 12). What can I do to fix it? Missing a low of WoW time from this

Re: Display adapter missing
Hi,
Can you tell me the make and model of this computer? If it is a custom built, please supply me with the make and model of the motherboard. Have you uninstalled this device (right click on it>unistall) and reboot the computer? XP may reinstall the device. Bill |
