Ethernet drivers for WHS?

I'm installing WHS on an old Dell Dimension 4700. The installation went well but several drivers have not been loaded, most importantly for the ethernet controller. Because I don't have a direct internet connection, the drivers don't automatically install.

So, I tried downloading the drivers from the Dell website (using my laptop). Nothing I found worked. I also dug out the old installation CD that came with the Dell and tried this, again with no luck. This did give me a clue though: I got an error message when trying to install the driver that the CD version (Windows XP) was not compatible with WHS.

As I still have a wifi card (and wireless dongle) on the Dell I also tried installing wireless controllers but with no luck. I guess this is the same XP vs WHS issue.

So, any clue where I can get a WHS ethernet controller driver for installation on a Dimension 4700?

Hello and welcome to TSF SwissBuster!

It will be a lot less headache if you can just buy a USB ethernet adapter, just a suggestion.
