Re: need HELP!! MTP Device
Right click on your Taskbar. Left click 'Customize' and with that device connected you should have one that says "<no title>" - that is the MTP Device.
Left click on the "Hide when inactive" and change it to "Always hide". See if that helps.

Re: need HELP!! MTP Device
Hi greenjr,
Try this: - Unplug any MP3 players from your system - Right click My Computer and select Properties - On the Hardware tab click Device Manager - You should see a yellow '!' - Click the '+' sign next to the yelow '!' sign to expand that entry - Right click MTP Device and select Uninstall - Reboot your system You should find the error has gone. Plug the MP3 player in and see if Windows will automatically install the device.

Re: need HELP!! MTP Device
What type of MP3 players are you connecting? There have ben a few problems with the Creative Zen units.
Also, if you are not running Windows Media Player 11 then I suggest you upgrade to that version - this has cured the same problem for others. (Download here)
