Chipset: K8M800 CPU to PCI Bridge Southbridge Vendor: VIA Technologies, Inc. Driver Needed: Manufacturer: VIA Technologies, Inc. Category: SCSI Adapter Driver: VIA SATA RAID Controller Version I presently have installed: 1/8/04 5.1.2600.300 Says I can upgrade to: 10/18/07 6.0.6000.223 System Info.: AMD 2600+ 1600 Mhz Motherboard: VIA K8M800-M2 Version 2.00.0018 Vendor: Elitegroup Computer, Ltd. BIOS Version: Phoenix-Award BIOS V. 6.00PG BIOS Date: 4/29/05 Chipset Name: VIA K8M800 Operating System: Windows XP I am having much difficulty in finding and downloading this much needed driver. Thank You for this info very helpful here and faster service provided for you here at TSF. Go here for all the drivers: http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Dow...nuID=6&LanID=9 Note: Install the chipset driver first (very important), reboot pc after inbetween each driver installation. After drivers are installed, go into device manager and report any devices that have a yellow ! mark by it if any. 1. windows installation 2. drivers - chipset driver first usually 3. antivirus and antispyware protection 4. Update windows through the windows update icon under the start button.
