[SOLVED] AMD DV2700 CTO notebook HP downgrade from Vista>XPsp2 , wireless drivers nee

Hey guys i recently downgraded a brand new pre-installed Vista notebook:dv2700 CTO by HP to windows XP pro sp2

I got the audio and video drivers to work nicely ...

the only thing im missing is the wireless wifi drivers

i got the HP wireless assistant already installed

but when i flip the switch on the notebook it doesnt change the light to blue ( active) light

it just stays on red

anyone know where i can get the drivers~??

i tried hp website but they dont work~

Vista to XP Downgrade Compaq/ HP F700/G6000/DV6900/DV6700/DVx7xx/DV9800 Series Laptop

Try the Drivers listed in the above link for your model.

Hello and Welcome to TSF,

Remember to install the chipset driver first.
Also reboot pc inbetween EACH driver installation.
