u3 sandisk problem
when i plug in my u3 flashdrive in my pc it can't read but when i plug it in other pcs it works
i have windows vista business 32-bit with service pack 1 |

In properties for the drive select update driver. Then select find the driver automatically. The system should find and install the proper driver for the USB storage drive.

Select form the list then and click on have disk. Aim it at "C:\windows", "C:\windows\system32", and/or C:\windows\system32\drivers". If one does not work try the next one.

Make and model of pc? sounds like the chipset driver is not installed.

Did you reboot pc after the driver installation first before trying to plug in the USB stick?

i don't remember
i uninstalled the u3 drivers from my pc when it was installing it failed to find preconfigured driver folders Last edited by skuly20; 08-01-2009 at 03:15 PM. |

If U3 software is not working on your drive then you must have deleted the unique identification in the hidden folders on the drive. The chances of you being able to use the U3 subsystem now are very slim and will probably require some talking with the manufacturer to get a new ID.
