u3 sandisk problem

when i plug in my u3 flashdrive in my pc it can't read but when i plug it in other pcs it works

i have windows vista business 32-bit with service pack 1

Do other USB devices work in your PC?
Look in Device manager for any Yellow marks in the USB area.

yes
and it only does yellow marks when i plug my u3 flashdrive

In properties for the drive select update driver. Then select find the driver automatically. The system should find and install the proper driver for the USB storage drive.

Did you reboot pc after the driver installation first before trying to plug in the USB stick?

i don't remember
i uninstalled the u3 drivers from my pc when it was installing it failed to find preconfigured driver folders

i already have launchpad version 1.6 and when i open launchU3 from the flash drive it says the system is not supported by the u3 lauchpad

If U3 software is not working on your drive then you must have deleted the unique identification in the hidden folders on the drive. The chances of you being able to use the U3 subsystem now are very slim and will probably require some talking with the manufacturer to get a new ID.
