Hi thanks for the answers i got back for code39 the nvidia driver i downloaded for my graphic card was the 96.85 and vista wont load
it im sure it isnt corrupted my computer stats are AMD ATHLON 12.75 graphic card nvidia FX5500  2gigram

Did you comply with this? - http://www.nvidia.com/object/driver_...ion_hints.html
You could try uninstalling the Nvidia drivers, uninstalling KB938194, then installing the new Nvidia drivers, then reinstalling the KB.

Go here for the vista driver version: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_96.85_2.html Before installation of driver - turn off antivirus Remember to reboot pc after installation completes

Hi,again thank you for the replies much appreciated.The driver i downloaded was the winvista 86.95. 85 and yes i did comply to download advice and the anti virus was turned off and i have uninstalled and re installed

Hi CCT helper your right there are compatability issues with ms updates any i have tried to download connected with this problem the reply i get is updates do not apply to my system so not only can i not install my driver but also ms updates.My heart is not endeared to ms Vista i have been bereft with problems since i ugraded i am downcast.Sorry im waffling on is there light at the end off the tunnel
