audio drivers for vista not working
i can't get my audio back. when i go to device manager i get this message. Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39).
i've updated the drivers to the newest software i've uninstalled it i've reinstalled it i've uninstalled it then restarted my computer when it reboots, it tells me it failed nothing is working! i don't know what to do anymore the computer i have is a hp pavilion a6712f. I ask someone else and they tolled me. "Go into Safe Mode, remove all instances of the DVD drive, reboot to Windows. It should pick up the drive and reinstall the drivers." that did work either. I really need help! thank you! |

Re: audio drivers for vista not working
Is your issue with sound or the dvd - your post is a little confusing.
If sound, you may need to uninstall the Realtek drivers again, then install MS KB888111 UAA drivers, reboot and THEN install the Realtek drivers. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111/ If the dvd isn't recognized, cleaning the filters may help; http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=k...060&x=12&y=13#
