Cq60-207ee
Ok, I know there have been not one but four (uh-hum) CQ60 posts about downgrading from Vista to XP, but (and I feel like an idiot right now) as I can't seem to get the drivers to work and it's been a long 5 days...
so here are the specs to my CQ60-207EE: http://www.am4computers.com/Documents/c01635814.pdf I have my hands on a XP professional w/SP3 update and XP Home w/SP2 So i've been able to install XP but the drivers just won't install and i think my computer is giving off more heat than before when it was running on vista... is that possible? I bow to whoever will relieve my pain

Re: Cq60-207ee
yes ty, sorry i havent been back for awhile, have had some personal problems.
Wireless Lan Driver: http://download.cnet.com/Network-Del..._4-177235.html Conextant Smartaudio Driver 220: http://download.cnet.com/Conexant-Hi..._4-177475.html reboot between each driver installation. check device manager again and report any more yellow ! marks left if any. Is this a USB device you have hooked up? (below) a printer maybe if it is?...disconnect it. until you get other drivers installed, then we can install the device. HP Integrated Module USB\VID_03F0&PID_171D\5&118CD64&0&2

Re: Cq60-207ee
Go here for network driver:
http://www.wireless-driver.com/downl...XP-Drivers.htm Scroll down till you see the download files - it is a kind of small icon. Go here for the HP Integrated Module: http://download.cnet.com/Bluetooth-2..._4-163866.html

Re: Cq60-207ee
it says its for several operating systems including xp windows.
Etract the folder contents first Go into device manager and right click on HP Integrated Module click on properties and update driver manually choose manual install and say you have the disc point it toward the zip folder - should be a folder labeled xp
