nic driver

i need help please i have a emachines t3256 , i do the reinstallation windows xp, but now i can't connects the modem by ethernet cable, look like the copm, don't intall the driver for the network card. i go to control panel and clik the icon of network connection but this appear in blank .please help

You need the network driver (as you mentioned). Contact emachines or if your PC came with any discs, hopefully one is a driver disc.
