[SOLVED] Drivers

Hey
I have a second computer with windows XP pro installed and recently it had gotten a virus on it unlike most viruses i get this one Pixelated everything then the next day the computer just hanged during boot so i decided to reformat and install windows XP again it worked but all my drivers are gone so now im basicly stuck with a brick that can play pin ball and use notepad the computer was brought in 2004 and has had some upgrades done to it.

Since all drivers are gone (sound,graphics ect) i cant play games,listen to music or even go on the internet Packard Bell no longer has my computers driver on there website so i cannot find my drivers to fix my problem


Can anyone help me find out were i can download my drivers

Use the pc you are posting with now and go to the PB support site. Download the Chhipset and Network Adaptor drivers and put on a flash drive or burn to cd . . then install them on the PB . . after that, you should be able to sue the PB to download the others.

Be sure to install the Chipset drivers first.

Well as i said before they dont have my models drivers so ill try to find an upgraded version and pick and chose for those chipset and networking drivers
hopefully installing a wrong one wont make a differnce.

okay its got internet and can play games just not sound yet.
in the process of fixing that comp i've bricked my Windows 7 computer so i reinstalled windows 7 its got everything but sound as i get Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file. from playing an mp3.
