audio drivers for hp a6200n

hey i downgraded from vista with an hp a6200n desktop, at one point i had the drivers, i have a sound card in but theres no mic, ect. so i want my onboard to work, i know there are xp drivers out there, after the drivers is there software i need to access the audio settings or even make it available under sound settings? if so what is it. any help is greatly appreciated.thank you

Did you install the chipset driver first?
