CD Rom Drive Problems/ SCSI/RAID Controller problem
My Cd rom drive does not seem to work. it opens fine but once it is closed my screen goes blank. Once restarting my laptop there is no d drive found in my computer. In Device manager there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the SCSI/RAID host controller and once looked at states a error essage with code 9. The manufacturer is unknown.
My computer and op info is: System: Microsoft Windows XP Home edition Version 2002 Service pack 2 Manufacturered and Supported by: Fujitsu Siemens Computers Intel (R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.73GHz 796 MHz, 512 MB of RAM Please help!!! Thanks! |

hi
tried that. downloaded chipset and installed but didnt seem to fix problem. no driver for cd\dvd rom on tht site i dont think. my computer is a amilo m1451g |

if it helps i contacted fujitsu who asked me if the screen goes black using the cd drive in bios mode, which it doesnt. they then said that therefore it must be a software problem!

Sorry this does not work either! i tries the fix it for me download never worked. then trying to fix it my self shows that i have no upper or lower fillters in the correct registry bit. Therefore it says they cannot help!

Hello,
restart pc and enter bios by pressing F1, F2, F10, delete or escape upon startup (varies on dif. pc`s) See if it listed there correctly in the bios.
