compaq r4000 sound

Hi
i know there has been another topic about this but the other one lacked a solution . I installed win xp on my compaq r4000 and now when i install the sound driver i get "windows cannot find 'swsetup/audio/setup.exe" . I'm sure i have the right driver (i got it from the hp site and it matches the driver from the original cd ) so something else must be the problem .
Please help me

Re: compaq r4000 sound

thx for the quick answer . are you saying that if i install the drivers in that exact order i wont get the error for the sound driver anymore ?

i don*t understant one thing , when you say to install
"
Laptop drivers:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...product=453183 " you mean all of them ? cause on that page there are also drivers for the things you previously gave me links or you mean just the sound driver and the ones left .
