[SOLVED] Windows logo test prevents me from installing any drive
Hello.
A few months ago I had a problem in burning DVDs I searched for some help and I found out that the DMA was turned off so I followed the instruchtions posted here and uninstalled the device and restarted so when windows opens again it re installs the device automatically I had to do this everytime I want to burn a DVD because when I shut down the computer the DMA turnes off again. From then I used to do that untill yesterday I did it and when restarted the re-installing of the Primary IDE Channel was interrupted by Windows logo test I went to "Driver Signing" and checked "Ignore" for Windows logo test but it keeps interrupting not only the Primary IDE Channel, but also the CD-ROM and USB Flash Disks now I can't open CDs/DVDs or any USB device. That's really driving me CRAZY because I have to burn alot of DVDs everyday! Please help!! |

Open one side of the case...
Clean PC from inside with can of compressed air and with brush... Clean heat-sink which resides on CPU with can of compressed air... You need to replace thermal paste on CPU... http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_s...structions.htm Keep us posted... |
