I need help with my Cd/Dvd driver Its urgent! please help me!

Hey guys bare with me here.
I recently downloaded this music mixer thing, it was fun and all but just got bored of it so i uninstalled it. It uninstalled perfectly everything was all good. Couple hours later i wanted to watch a movie and my disc wasn't playing so I'm like "hmm maybe the disc is broke" so i checked and put in another disc, and that didn't work either, couple minutes later i have gone threw all my discs and I'm guessing "they all cant be broken?"
so i looked on the web for Solutions and nothing helped. i think its my CD/DVD driver, that's what i kept seeing come up. I really hope its not tho because i would hate to replace it, because its a brand new computer sorta 2 years at max probably. so please if someone could help me with my problem i would really appreciate it.

yes, its there and i can eject the disc trey but it doesnt want to read discs.

uninstall the filters as in the link you were given above

if no good uninstall the drive from the device manager and reboot

then check it

Okay i deleted the filters that i had and rebooted my computer, but cd driver is still not reading the discs. by the way the disc are perfect so it cannot be the discs. i hope its nothing serious :( and iv already tryed uninstalling the driver and rebooting but still nothing.

hey thanks for the link, but it didn't solve my problem.
i hope this helps it says

"Media in the CD/DVD drive is not readable (ATAPI DVD DH16AYH ATA Device)"

if it means the disc i put in doesnt work its not that because i tryed about 76 of my discs and they are all clean.

You tried copies or originals? If it cannot read even original (ex. music/movie) CD/DVD media, I suggest you test the drive in another computer so you can isolate if it is the Windows installation or the drive itself. Try also cleaning the lens. My two cents... I think you have a malfunctioning drive (hardware-wise) that needs replacement.

yeah they are original discs, how do i clean the lens? and i cant try my driver on another computer because i dont have another one.

uninstall and reinstall your burning software

try the drive in another computer to check it
