Lost drivers for CDDVD drive on Vista Laptop

Hello anyone help, I am running a Compaq PresarioF500 Laptop with Vista, Im unsure how long ago this has happened but the CDDVD drive is not registering and the given cause when looking into the device manager is :- TSST corp CDDVDWTS-1632H ATA Device Hopefully this will mean something to some one. It says apparently that the drivers are possibly corupt or missing. Any ideas on how to get new drivers or how to rectify the problem if drivers are not needed, Many thanks in advance,
Mark

Re: Lost drivers for CDDVD drive on Vista Laptop

Hello,

Try uninstalling the drive from Device Manager and restart the system.

Windows will reload the drive.

Try removing the filters.
