Help with finding or recovery of HP A520n drivers

Here is the specs on the pc (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...product=404643). I have looked at the available drivers at HP.com, driverguide.com, nvidia.com, and a few others. I also have used the HP/Compaq mb name to look for drivers, so far I have found nothing. So now I am wondering - can I pull the drivers off of the recovery disc? I am not going to use the recovery disc it puts way too much garbage on the pc. Also it is XP Home and I am going to put XP Pro on it.

I am looking for the sound, video, etherenet, all the rest of the drivers for the system. For all the onboard stuff not any add on pci,agp, whatever stuff. All the drivers they have provided at hp.com are incorrect drivers i know for a fact that my pc never used "Spring 2004 stuff". For example the sound is Realtek AC97. All the rest of the stuff is updates, "upgrades", utilities, etc. useless stuff for the driver issue.

Did you try any of the original drivers?

Chipset Driver:

Realtek Audio driver:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

1. Install chipset driver
2. reboot pc
3. Install audio driver
4. reboot pc

Check device manager for any other drivers you need and post them here.

Thanks guys, i appreciate the feedback - being a old pc I told my friend to put a newer socket a board in it from ebay.... lol i am sure that will be better than that pos hp spec asus board.
