Hi, I need help finding correct driver for video card
My card is a Ati Radeon HD 4870.
Now heres where my trouble begins. I'm not sure if i should be going to visiontek.com to get the driver or at ati.com. This is what the box package looks like http://www.xbitlabs.com/images/video...hd4870_box.jpg But it is an ati card, so I should be able to go to ati.com and get the driver from there correct?? So heres where more of my trouble begins. http://support.visiontek.com/drivers...ta_driver.html This is the link for the visiontek vista 32bit driver for the video card. This is the ati link for the same video card... HD 4870.. http://support.amd.com/us/psearch/Pa...ords=&items=20 Why is the visiontek driver saying version 8.11 yes the ati website driver says 9.6 WHICH ONE DO I DOWNLOAD??!?!?! Also. On the ati website link I supplied, there is another driver download on the same page called "Legacy display driver" What is that?? DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD THAT?? Damn it all... I'm so confused. |
