[SOLVED] Ports and Wireless WAN Adapter
Well, I've been trying to get my Verizon internet working on my computer, but before I can do that (and use the USB modem) I have to find drivers for my "Ports" and a "Wireless WAN Adapter". Here's what device manager has to say about both of these things:
"This device is not configured correctly. There is no driver selected for this device information set or element". Obviously Windows was unable to find drivers for my Ports and Wireless WAN Adapter. Is there anywhere I can download these things? |

Re: Ports and Wireless WAN Adapter
It should be worth mentioning that I plug the USB modem into the same USB Port that I plug the mouse into, so it SHOULD work, but it doesn't. (The mouse works, the USB modem doesn't. It throws up the message about finding drivers for Ports and Wireless WAN Adapter then fails).

Re: Ports and Wireless WAN Adapter
Hi,
Do you have the Driver for the USB Modem? What is the Make and Model of this USB Modem? Make and model of the computer would also help. Why are you connecting via USB, does it have a LAN Connection? Thanks, Bill |

Re: Ports and Wireless WAN Adapter
No worries, figured it out. I unplugged the device from the multi-pronged USB I had it attached to, plugged it in, and it detected it. Then I reconnected it to the USB and it worked.
