Oh No! Lost all my drivers?!

I got fooled by a bug last week saying that I my computer was infected, and that I had to add their software to fix it. I tried everything on my own to whack the infection, but found that a reformatting was the easiest way to proceed. After remormatting, I lost the majority of my software (ie ms office, etc.), I lost all audio, my display was severely compromised (possibly lost vid drivers?), and the oddest thing to me was I no longer have the option to put my system into standby mode (it's greyed out). I have only the most basic capabilities. Can anyone help? Please?
Thanks a ton!

Try using these instead http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php

Identify the motherboard make & model.
