I had to recently reinstall windows on my e-machine because for some reason it keep re starting over and over. after I reinstalled windows vista home basic, it seemed to be okay. Then it told me windows had some new updates available to restart my computer. When I did it just froze on the boot screen.(the big e) and will not boot up it just set's there. What can I do

What was the reason for reinstalling windows? make and model of pc? power supply unit - brand and wattage?
