Missing Ethernet/Lan driver for nvidia
The computer came prebuilt and I don't have the drivers for the mobo or the ethernet card. From everest I have found that the mobo is ECS Nforce3 250. Chipset:Nvidia Nforce3-A. I am running windows service pack 3 (latest windows update). When I start my computer up it says it found PCI bridge device hardware as well as SM Bus controller, but I have no drivers for them. Under the devices in everest it says its Nvidia MCP2 Lan controller so I downloaded drivers for Nvidia MCP2, I tried two different downloads and neither worked. Looking for any help I can get. If there is anything I left out that you need to know I apologize.

Hello and Welcome to TSF,
Everest: Copy and paste the report to Notepad or MS Word. Save the report so you know where it is. You then can attach the report.

This should be your driver: http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce3_winxp_5.11 This should take care of most your issues. Check the Device Manager and post any remaining errors. Bill |
