DVD drawer won't open!

Hi there.

Right, played a DVD with no problems last night.

This morning tried to play more and all that would play was an opening screen (The movie company's logo and theme etc).

I am using VLC media player on a Viao. When I go into the Settings the message Unable to open 'dvdsimple://F:' comes up.

Now the drawer is stuck, DVD in, the led light off and after having a Google I have even tried the pin through the small hole trick.

That did work once and of course, as soon as put the DVD back in - back to square one.

I'm depressed

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

What is the make and model of pc?
What service pack are you running?
