[SOLVED] ethernet driver

i had to reinstall windows xp pro, managed to install all drivers by using device manager. the one it cannot find a driver for is the ethernet card, i have downloaded drivers that i thought may be the right one but when i click on reinstall it does not find or regonise any of the downloads.
the id instance no. is
pci/ven-1904 & dev-8139&sybsys-oooooooo&rev01/3&61aaao1&0&50

no. on card. NC100 TX-DL

ANY HELP TO FIND THE RIGHT DRIVER WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

Re: ethernet driver

Is it onboard nic, or a separate card? If its onboard go to makers
website and download and install driver..

Re: ethernet driver

Go here.. http://www.dynamode.co.uk/support/nic.html
Seems that is the maker of your nic card. Could not find the exact
model number, make sure you have the right model number...
When you installed xp, did you install mobo drivers? If not you should.
What motherboard do you have? Does it have a onboard nic?

Re: ethernet driver

Did you recieve any cds with your pc? What brand pc do you have or
is it custom built? If you take the side cover off usually between the
pci slots the make and model number of your mobo will be printed.
You can download eversest home edition its free do a google for it.
That program will tell you all you need to know about your setup.
If you recieved any cds with your system chances are the mobo drivers
are on one of them.

It would be better if you posted all hardware specs, so that we are
not guessing. What you could do is go out and buy a nic card, there
around $20.00 american, it will come with the driver...
