Mistake Motherboard Replaced; ATI Graphics Driver No Longer Works

First off, my specs. I have a Dell Studio 1735 running Windows Vista 32-bit as my OS.

The motherboard recently died, and I had a Dell technician come to my house to replace the hardware. Everything went smoothly, but when I booted the computer up, I kept getting these warnings telling me that the ATI graphics driver isn't installed. In fact, it says as follows:

No ATI graphics driver is installed, or the ATI driver is not functioning properly. Please install the ATI driver appropriate for your ATI hardware.

How do I figure out what ATI hardware I have? I've tried downloading and installing a few ATI products and they didn't work, so I'm just chalking that up to the fact that I'm not sure what product I have.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Try downloading the Video driver from the Dell website.

Alright. I tried that, and it failed, saying "Failed to find any installable components!" I'm not entirely sure what that means.

Re: Motherboard Replaced; ATI Graphics Driver No Longer Works

Hello and Welcome to TSF,

Go here for the chipset driver: (download both of them)
http://support.dell.com/support/down...g=en&TabIndex=

Go here for the graphics driver:
http://support.dell.com/support/down...g=en&TabIndex=

Install in this order:
Both chipset drivers
Graphics card driver
Reboot between each driver installation.

Note: There some choices for choosing the graphics driver, so make sure you pick the right one for the pc, maybe a sticker on laptop saying which graphics card it is.
