Motherboard driver problem

Hi, just the other day I installed the latest software for my motherboard (Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe) via Microsoft Update, and once installed my onboard LAN completely cut out.

I've had to put a temporary PCI network card in, and I know it is just a problem with windows and not the MoBo, as I have booted up in Ubuntu and it runs fine.

The software I installed was titled 'NVIDIA Network Bus Enumerator'

Can anyone throw some light onto the problem?

Cheers

Re: Motherboard driver problem

Hello and Welcome to TSF,

Yes after SP3 install, the network driver and possibly others will have to be reinstalled again.

Go here and download and install:

Re: Motherboard driver problem

Thanks for your help but I have in fact fixed the problem. I rolled back the driver using the Device Manager, and then re-installed the update and it all works fine. Thanks very much for your help.
