Onboard RealTek HD Sound interferes w/ Firewire
So finally pinpointing the problem I see that when I install the RealTek HD sound drivers for my Gigabyte ga-ep45-ur3d rev 1.1 mother board it causes the computer to not recognize my external firewire drive/the firewire port on start up.
If I disable the realtek device the computer recognizes the drive fine on start up. I would just install the driver at all - but then I can not use my extra front pannel firewire port. Any ideas? Using winxp sp3 Bios version f5 on the gigabyte mother board Need any other info? thanks |
