Problem with network adapters..

It was working fine at one point. Then i tried installing Avast due to the suggestion of a friend, and then i see all my network adapters are showing the error code 39.

I tried uninstalling reinstalling, (failed system restore) etc, but i just cant get it working.

To see what i am talking about, this thread shows my error.

New Network Adapters and all drivers are corrupt or missing

On the bottom left picture of device manger, it shows the "!" mark for the adapters, it shows like this for mine.

I would appreciate any help.

Re: Problem with network adapters..

Other than reinstalling the operating system...which would likely be my choice...I don't have a solution.
I have used Avast in the past...and have never experienced your problem...It may however have happened as a result of the site that you used to download Avast.

Good Luck.

Re: Problem with network adapters..

Have you tried uninstalling in Device Manager and uninstalling any and ALL related programs in ADD/REMOVE? I suggest you try uninstalling in these two places and do a reboot. Also make sure you got AVAST from the developer's website and not anywhere else.

Re: Problem with network adapters..

Did you also try what Triggerfinger has suggested in his last post?

Driver installers sometimes install a (related) program in your computer (can be found in ADD/REMOVE) as it installs the driver. If the driver is Intel then the related program would also be Intel. Usually the name itself would give it away. In your case if you do not see any programs installed that could be related to your video drivers then may be you do not have a related program installed. Just uninstall in Device Manager and may be use something like this: http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/
