Updating the driver will make my ROM read dvd9?
Hi, I have a lg gcc-4320b combo, its firmware version is 1.01 and it cannot read dvd9 disks. Will updating it 1.02 make it read dvd disks?
If it will not solve the problem, I won't take the risk of updating it and having the chance to broke my gcc-4320b combo. |

Each firmware has its list of issues that it resolves. If reading DVD9 discs is not one of the issues listed then IMO it will not answer your problem. Check the documentation of the new firmware.
