e drive no longer available
cannot find my e drive. i have removed the cover and disconnected and reconnedted cdrw and dvd drivers. they light up when rebooting. once cd or dvd installed nothing happens. cannot find them>

so your e drive doesn't show up in my comp. check in device manager for exclamation drives. Check my comp > rt click manage

What Brand/Model is the pc? Did you inistall or uninstall any hardware or software just prior to this happening? Do the drives appear in BIOS?
