where can i get drivers?[MOVED FROM WINDOWS]

sir my friend using cq50-106au laptop, he installed windows XP_sp3, he cann't get the drivers for that so please help him to solve that problem...

find the program 'Driver Genius Pro. Edition' just install the program and open it click on update drivers it will automatically bring up the drivers you need then press download on the program, just install them 1 by 1 you should be alright after that.

I am not sure what installing SP3 has to do with drivers. It shouldn't have affected any of your existing drivers you had installed.

But you can download the drivers right from HP/Compaq's website.

That's going to be a bit tricky. I did find this, here, that has a few. Pay attention to the Comments section (or Responses as they call it) as people there have posted updates and other sources of XP drivers for that computer.

Let us know if you still need help after going through that list.

You have to understand that as newer operating systems come out with newer computers, manufacturers are not going to create drivers for the older operating systems. It looks as if this computer came with Vista installed and HP/Compaq decided to not create any drivers for it. So I would assume they are not supporting it with Windows XP on it. So if you have any issues that requires HP's support they are probably not going to help you. You are basically going to have to Google search for it just like the rest of us will have to do to help you.
