Nforce 630a SATA Controller installation problem

Hi,
I am having problems installing the nforce 630a SATA controller on my windows XP Pro system. I managed to install windows with a sata driver that i included in an nlite installation i made a while back for a different system, but now when i look in device manager there is no SATA driver listed and im guessing its a windows default controller thats being used.
I have 2 Hitachi SATA drives, but do not wish to RAID them.
I've looked around for a while to try and find an answer but could not find anything that works.

I have an Asus M2N-VM DVI motherboard and the 2 Hitachi SATA drives i mentioned above with no other drives installed.
If there is any more information which you need just let me know as i may have missed something important.

Re: Nforce 630a SATA Controller installation problem

HI,
The drivers are part of the CHIPSET:
Asus:
http://support.asus.com/download/dow...l=M2N-VM%20DVI

or Nvidia:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_winxp_15.24.html

Hope this helps.
Bill
