Drivers for HP Pavilion DV5-1111ea XP[MOVED FROM WINODWS]

Hi there, I'm trying to install XP on a HP Pavilion DV5-1111ea laptop with Vista Home Premium pre-installed. I'm having trouble finding video and audio drivers, resulting in BSoD every time I start up.

HP's official website doesn't have anything helpful, does anyone know where I might find these drivers, or any similar drivers that may be compatible?

Hello MattJames91,

You can try looking at the graphics vendor website (ATI in your case).

You may be able to find the driver there.

Thanks have found a graphics driver, its the audio and video drivers I'm having trouble with. HP doesn't have anything on their website, and I'm starting to think that it's just too new to find XP drivers for.

I really want to rid of XP, do you or anyone else know where I might find the other drivers, or even a way of using the Vista drivers?

HI,
I am taking a chance here as I have not done one of these.

Go to your Device Manager
Post ALL errors (yellow!?, or Red X)

Also on these errors:
Right Click on the error>Properties>Details Tab
Post the info you find under Device Instance ID

ive successfully installed 2003 server including all the driver on DV5-1111ea, excluding the wireless card driver working on dat , giv u quick brief for installation u need to embed sata driver into the xp installtion and the graphics card driver needs modding for complete details email, ill be glad to help
