Hello everyone just needed some help finding some drivers, maybe you guys can help. I have a compaq presario sr1426nx desktop computer and i resently went from xp home edition to xp pro. I was able to get most of the drivers but the only ones giving me problems are the multimedia device drivers, the multimedia communications device driver and the pci device driver. Re: drivers needed
Hi,
HP does not list the Audio Driver on thier site: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...465651&lang=en From the spec sheet you have a ALC880 Audio chip (Realtek HD Audio) You will need to install the MS UAA Driver first: UAA Driver: http://geekswithblogs.net/lorint/arc.../11/81540.aspx Scroll down to Q888111 and Select XP SP2 Install this driver first Audio: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false Accept the agreement Select: High Definition Audio Codecs (Software) Select: Windows 2000, Windows XP/2003(32/64 bits) Driver only (Executable file) Possibly the Modem Driver: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...os=228&lang=en Let us know if this resolves All the errors in the Device Manager. Thanks, Bill |
