Does anyone have an idea as to what brand this video capture device is and where to get drivers for it? Windows XP recognizes it but cannot find a suitable driver.

Hi,
I have no idea what this device is, but if it is connected and XP does not provide the driver we MAY beable to find it using the hardware ID.

With the Device connected go to the Device Manager
If XP Detected it but did not install a driiver for it you may "see" an error (Yellow!? or Redx)

Right click on this error>Properties>Details Tab
Post the info you find under Device Instance ID.

I am unable to locate the vendor (VID_2008) of this device.

Are there any model numbers on this unit?

Edit: I did come across this listing stating it is a:

Hi,
I am still looking, but most of the Genesys drivers appear to be native to XP SP2 and Vista.
Have you connected the Device and try to use Microsoft Update "Custom" option to see if it will find the driver?
Allow it to scan your system.
Then on the left of the page under Hardware it may supply the driver.

Microsoft Update "Custom" did not find the driver either! Guess I need to invest in another
capture device.
