USB Driver

A few questions

Suddenly when I put my USB/Pen Drive into the computer it comes up as a folder now not a driver and it denies access to it but i just right click explore and there are all my files on it. Any way to stop that preventing?

If I delete something from my USB, Is there anyway I can get it back?

Re: USB Driver

If this were my rig, I would delete all of the USB items and then reboot and the computer should find all of them again and reinstall them. Here is how you remove them all before reinstall:

You can do this by this method:
  • Unplug all USB items

  • Start

  • Control Panel

  • System

  • Hardware

  • Device Manager

  • View

  • Show Hidden Devices

  • Scroll down to the USB area and open it with (+)

  • Right click on each item and Uninstall all that you have with that option

  • Reboot and let the computer find them

  • Plug items back in and test it.
