System drivers

I have a custom built computer based on a Intel 945GNT board, running XP Home. I recently ran Driver Detective and found a few driver needed to be updated. Successfully updated graftic board and network adapter, but can't find the driver to update system devices (USB Human interface, PCI Bridge, etc). Do I need to flash the BIOS to acheive this, trying not to spend $30 on an utility to do this (I'd rather do it myself)

Hi,
Some of these drivers come from Microsoft (XP).
I would not use a driver program to see what is so called outdated.
These programs will state the driver needs to be updated if it "sees" it as being 2years old. You then pay to find out that it installs the same driver.
Save your money and go ethier to the manaufacture's site for your board or Device (ei. Graphics Card).
