Re: Hp Pavilion a6167c Desktop pc

Hi,
You may have an issue with installing the Audio Driver due to SP3 being installed before ALL your drivers are installed. I do not install SP3 until ALL the drivers are working correctly.

Here is your spec sheet:
http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Dow...nuID=6&LanID=0

And

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...451992&lang=en

According to the spec sheet you have a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 Chipset

This driver must be installed first:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_winxp_15.24.html

Video: Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE

MS UAA Driver:

Scroll down to Q888111 for your SP
This driver must be installed before you install the Audio.
You may have to uninstall SP3 to install this driver.

Audio: Realtek ALC 888S chipset

Go back to the Device Manager and post any remaining errors you have (Yellow !? or Red X)

Hope this helps,
Bill
