does anyone know where i can get the usb controller driver for this system running xp?

I tried looking for the specs of the Pulsar 300 (old system BTW)

suggests that it's a Pentium III with a Bora Pro (never heard of) motherboard.
If that sounds correct, then the specs for the motherboard are here

On the intel site http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ all the 440ZX downloads are for older versions of Windows (NT 3.51, 95, 98, NT 4)
I'm not sure what to suggest. A more accurate way of identifying the chipset would be via

download that, run it, and paste what it says.
