Re: ASUS P4B266 Support CD & Drivers request.

Dear Bill,

Thank you very mucch for your caring response.

I sincerely would like to perform many of the features contained in the Support CD for the ASUS P4B266 Motherboard -as the 5 seconds internet access from DOS and others. Obviously in that CD there are the drivers and the user manual between other material. Some drivers are available at ASUS website, however the aforementioned CD do is very valuable -as I have seen. This is why I am looking for it someway. Anything you or someone else can do to help me on this matter will be sure right gratifying for all suitable working with this motherboard. Thanks in advance.

Re: ASUS P4B266 Support CD & Drivers request.

Hi Rodney.
First I need to know what are if you want a "Clean Install" Or are you trying to "Save" information.

If you want a "Clean Computer" you must do a clean install:
http://www.techsupportforum.com/cont...icles/158.html

Once the install is done then we can work on the drivers.
I am not sure what you mean by this:

You need to install the OS (XP) before you install the drivers (in most cases)
I will help you.

Grin Re: ASUS P4B266 Support CD & Drivers request.

Hi Bill,

Thank you very much. I already did an instalation of Win XP, however this I must reinstall the OS due to some corruptions -mine fault I guess. Is a long way as long as if I have the Support CD for ASUS P4B266 I could been starting from complete zero, and then, I could very much comfortable install the OS, (along with the enhanced functions of the motherboard) through the software in the CD.

Anyway if get the Support CD I can do the better abovementioned procedure of installing the software from the CD as it was from the first time... at anytime!

What I am asking is for anyone who have the CD to gentle provide me a procedure to obtain it. (Thanks in advance.)

Re: ASUS P4B266 Support CD & Drivers request.

Hi Rodney,
Sorry for the confusion. The best way to grt a replacement CD is to contact ASUS
Asus:
http://www.asus.com/aboutasus.aspx?show=3

Or contact the Asus store:
http://estore.asus.com/shop/contactus.asp

I have googled for a CD replacement for your board, but am not have any luck.

Pin Re: ASUS P4B266 Support CD & Drivers request.

Hi Bill,

Thanks again.

I order to obtain the CD I have contacted via mail -at their web and hotmail also- the ASUS eStore. I am afraid it is discontinued as it is not shown in the store. Anyway they do not ship internationally but TO USA and Canada.

I have been wondering that if they can sell the cd, someone could be forwarding it to me to Montevideo, Uruguay, South America (that is were I live.) May you perform this shipping task? or May be another way (or service) to do this?

Other way is performing a search on eBay and similar services.

Thanks in advance for any idea or counsel about this matter.

Sincerely,

Rodney S.

Re: ASUS P4B266 Support CD & Drivers request.

Hi Rodney,
See if this will work for you:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ASUS-P4B266-P4B2...3286.m20.l1116

For security reasons I can not help you with forwarding the CD.

I have also removed your URL from your post.
You would need permission to post your URL that is for advertising purposes of any kind.

Thanks,
