Western Digital External Hard Drive
I had WDEHD installed on Windows XP, but when I updated to Vista, my WDEHD won't install. I don't remember having a CD to install it originally, but even if I did remember, I don't have a CD now. Is the External Hard Drive useless now or is there a fix?

Hi,
Usually Harddrives do not need drivers. Can you go into your Device Manager and see if you have any errors (Yellow !). Please post them if you do. What is the make and model of your Computer? This may also help: Have you "lost" a hard drive, partition or files in your computer? Bill |
