Searching for graphic driver problem.

Hello people, im searching for a new graphic driver to play games like CoD 4-5 and settlers 6. I hope someone can help me with this. I got now a cheap built-in driver in my motherboard who doesnt support many things.

My problems in-games are flashing screen and sometimes black
and the error i get if im trying to start CoD 5 is:
Error During initialization: Video card or driver doesn't support UBYTE4N vertex data.

The graphic driver need to have vertex shader.

I hope someone can help me.

Re: Searching for graphic driver problem.

the problem is from your Video card
it's built-in in your motherboard (integrated) this error means that intel cards does not support vertex shader and the game won't launch you just need to get a new video card (a dedicated video card) to be able to play COD 4
not any video drivers can fix this problem, only a PCIe or sometimes an AGP card could fix the problem

Re: Searching for graphic driver problem.

It is G31 Intel chipset version so I guess it has a PCI-E graphic card slot.
Before you buy new graphic card, tell us what make/model is your PSU???
A more powerful graphic card requires more powerful PSU to be run...

Keep us posted...
