Need help with Realtek High Definition Audio Driver
Hi people- foolishly, I deleted my audio driver a few hours ago; which unsurprisingly led to no sound coming out of my speakers. I went to the Realtek website and downloaded the latest Realtek driver for XP 64 bit, restarted my computer, and to no avail.
I tried a system restore, but this failed for reasons unknown to me. I've tried re-installing the drivers at least 3 times, and for whatever reason have Realtek Gbe and FE Ethernet PCI NIC Driver installed as well. I don't really have a clue what I'm doing; all I know is that I've got no sound, and need some help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. |
