I have a Lexmark X73 multi-function printer added to my computer and recently in the Device managers section, it is showing a red X and 'unknown device' beside it and my main USB controller shows a green question mark beside it. In the error section it shows a code 10.
Several attempts to reload the drivers from the Windows drivers folder had proved to be futile as the above listings were still apparent. Is there anyway I can get around this. I need to keep this computer going for as long as I can until I get a newer model. Many thanks!! |

Re: USB troubles
Check in BIOS setup that you have USB turned on. If it is then install/reinstall your chipset drivers (should have come with the computer). As for the Lexxy - uninstall any Lexmark software you have. Unplug the Lexxy from the computer and start the installation CD. Follow the prompts and plug in the printer when the software tells you. Should all setup okay now.
