[SOLVED] VGA Compatible

Hello.

I don't know much about computers so I need your help. One day my PC went crazy and after rebooting it said Video Controller (VGA Compatible) is missing. I then formated my HDD and installed all the drivers, but the same problem appears. I finally thought I found the right driver to install, but my comp reboots during installing.

I googled around and there's loads of people with the same problem. I guess I have to install some drivers right? Can you help me please, here's my comp stats...

Re: VGA Compatible

Only Video Contoller (VGA Compatible) has a yellow "!" and when I turn my PC on it says 'found new hardware VGA Compatible'.

When I try to install the latest NVIDIA drivers it messes up my screen even more... Can't change resolution, refresh rate and so on.

Re: VGA Compatible

I tried, but as I said in my first post my computer restarts itself when I'm installing. :(

EDIT: Actually, now I got it installed, but my screen resolution is 800by600 and color quality is 4bit and I can't change.
