NAS Firmware
I did a very stupid thing earlier, and elected to update my NAS drive firmware - until this point the NAS was detectable to all the computers on my network. I accidently selected the upgrade option before searching for the lastest fireware version. Although I would have expected this to simply fail, it didn't, and now my NAS is not visible to any PC! I've located the less than useless disk that came with the NAS which via USB I can connect, but driver reinstalation doesn't seem to work. So, any idea's of a) how to find the right Firmware for my NAS, and; b) how do I install it?
Details: I have a Sumivision NAS running SAMBA. Although I thought it had only one 500 mb drive, it looks as though it has two: Toshiba mk8009gah & ST350032 OAS drives I really have no idea what to do now, so any help is much appreciated. |
