acer laptop upgraded to win xp pro sp2 need drivers
hello im new here and have been searching extensively for help with a issue im having
i recently purchased a acer laptop extensa 4420-5963. it came with vista preinstalled on it. i did a long format on it and installed win xp pro sp2 on a raw hardrive. it didnt install the drivers for: mass storage controller network controller pci drive sm bus controller i have been searching for the drivers for the aboved mention items. can anyone help with locating the drivers? thanx. |

 ,Welcome to TSF Your Acer Extensa 4420 has XP drivers on this site: http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html Select Acer Notebooks>Acer Extensa>Scroll to Extensa 4420>Drivers and Utilities Be sure to install the SM Bus Controller first as this is part of your Chipset (SMBUS v.5.10.1000.6) Hope this helps.
