[SOLVED] Need Sound driver Please

Need a sound driver for my friends pc the Ven is 8086 and the dev is 24c5 got one before but it didnt work

This come through as a Realtek HD Audio:

You may Also need this UAA driver:
http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOU...on-Audio.shtml

INSTALL this prior to the sound driver.
You may also have to install the MODEM driver before you have sound.
As I stated prior, you may have issues with SP3 (previous post)

I have a question is this an Advent laptop that was downgraded to XP?
If so please post the model #.

sorry it took so long to reply no this is now my friends computer not mine but not his laptop i did his laptop by the way so thanks alot and the driver i got for my computer before the 24c5 worked for mine but did not work for his thanks again also its a xp home computer

I really do not understand this.
What is the make and model of the PC you are having issues with?
Was it a downgrade from Vista to XP?

tanks for help mate had to down grade the computer from sp3 to sp2 to get the sound going thanks again mate
